In 1747, Lind conducted what is considered the first randomized clinical trial aboard a British naval ship, setting the foundation for centuries of scientific advancement that continue to transform healthcare today.
This year, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) is celebrating Clinical Trials Day 2025 under the theme “Powered by Purpose.” This powerful message speaks to the heart of what drives the clinical research community—an unwavering commitment to improving lives through research, innovation, and collaboration.
